We strive to provide a great product. By using it, you are agreeing to its Terms of Service (and further revisions). We aim to make things as fair as possible. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the service.

User content

Having said that, we reserve the right to remove any content that violates the Terms of service, including but not limited to objectionable content that is harmful, hateful, invasive, threatening, defamatory, spamming, cruel, racist, exploitative, violates copyrights, harms anyone, etc. We will do our best to promptly handle take-down notices, but under no circumstances will we be liable for any damages resulting from user-uploaded content.

Property rights

You have limited rights to use the service and modify your own information.

Conduct

You are responsible for the way you use this platform. You are also responsible for safeguarding your sign-in credentials so no other party can act maliciously on your behalf. While we do our best to safeguard the service against potential attacks, we cannot guarantee against future attacks and vulnerability. Reporting objectionable content

We want a respectful and safe environment for all users. If you encounter content that you believe violates these Terms of Service, including but not limited to harmful, hateful, obscene, defamatory, or otherwise toxic content, you may report it to us. Please send a detailed description of the issue along with any relevant links or evidence to our dedicated reporting email (info@swing.london).

We will investigate all reports and decide on appropriate action, which may include the temporary or permanent removal of content, and if necessary, termination of accounts in violation of these terms. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to decide what constitutes objectionable content.

Termination

While we strive to make fair judgement calls, we reserve the right to terminate any account with or without a reason. Why? The internet is big and there's always someone who will try to push moral limits.

Limitation of Liability

We spend a great deal of effort making sure swing.london works smoothly, but this service is provided on an "as is" basis. You use this service at your own risk. We make no guarantees, representations, or warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, with respect to the performance, reliability, or availability of the service or any content provided through it. In no event will we be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

We are not the creator, organizer, or owner of the events listed on the Services nor are we the seller of tickets, registrations or any merchandise on the Services. Instead, we provide our Services, which allow Organizers to manage ticketing and registrations and promote their events.

When hosting an event, the Organizer is solely responsible for ensuring that their event and any page displaying an event complies with any applicable laws, rules, and regulations, and that the goods and services described on the event page are delivered as described and in an accurate, satisfactory manner.

If the Organizer is hosting an event with paid tickets, the Organizer selects the payment processing method offered to Consumers for its event. Consumers must use the payment processing method the Organizer selects to collect payment.

If the Organizer uses us for Payment Processing, we act as the Organizer's limited agent to process payments from Consumers on the Organizer's behalf using our third-party payment service providers.

Refunds

Digital bookkeeping is becoming standardised for businesses in the UK and adds a lot of processing for refunds. Therefore, as standard, we do not offer refunds at all, as it creates a lot of extra administration. We encourage you to take credit or rollover your pass to another event. In exceptional circumstances we will be prepared to make a refund but there will be a processing charge of 15% minus any fees that have already been taken by merchants.

Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of any content you publish on our platform. By posting content on swing.london, you grant us a temporary, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to display, distribute, and promote your content on our platform. This license will remain in effect only as long as your content is publicly available on the platform and will terminate once you choose to remove or delete the content.

You are solely responsible and liable for the content you publish. swing.london does not endorse, guarantee, or take responsibility for any user content, and under no circumstances will we be held liable for any claims or damages arising from content posted by users on the platform. All other elements of the service—such as code, design, algorithms, and features—are and will remain the intellectual property of swing.london.

Privacy and Data Usage

We may only collect server logs and use this data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using the service, you agree that we can gather and use anonymized or aggregated data to improve the platform, troubleshoot issues, and provide insights on usage patterns. We will never sell your personal data to third parties.

Changes to the Terms of Service

We may modify or revise these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, or legal requirements. Any changes will be effective upon posting. Continued use of the service after the revised terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the changes. Please check back periodically for updates.

Governing Law

These terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms will be resolved exclusively in the courts located in said jurisdiction.
